The internet sharpened its pitchforks for this one and they were dead wrong — it's the bravest Halloween has been since the original. Closing out the 2018 trilogy, it dares to make the evil contagious rather than singular, which is exactly the kind of swing the lore needed. Maybe the most divisive entry, definitely one of the most fascinating.
