ever watched a man's ankles just fold under him after the achilles go? that gag has real weight on it, somebody built the joint to give. the dangling eyeball with the torch and the snip stays wet the whole way, pus and all. roth points the camera at the wound and holds, no chickening out to a smash cut. the movie around the killing is dumb and dawdles forever getting down to the warehouse, but once you're there it's all squib and craftsmanship. liked it. less drilling, more busted ankles next time.
