the CDC seals the building with the personnel still inside it. textbook containment, catastrophic for anyone breathing. you do not lock the assets in WITH the contagion and cut comms in the same hour. A for the agency, F for the survivors. no supply line, no muster point, nobody establishes a clean floor or holds the stairwell. the attic was a defensible fallback the entire time and they find it last, by accident, in the dark. that night-vision finale is the cleanest lesson in the genre: light off, one noise, asset down, reporter dragged into the black. zero situational awareness wins again. solid infection drill, nobody on screen passes it.
