people treat this like the worst thing to ever happen to a christmas tree, but the neon-lit house invasion is a genuine BANGER, and imogen poots could read me my miranda rights any day. is it a little t-shirt feminism? yeah. did a character say "not all men" and make me wince so hard i pulled something? also yeah. but there's a real slasher clawing to get out of that pg-13 edit, you can FEEL the cut, kills evaporating mid-stab like the editor got scared. the supernatural ending is dumb as hell and i don't care, the slumber party massacre dna is there if you squint. nobody respects this one, which is exactly why i keep coming back to it.
