a pool cleaner crawls itself out onto the patio, every single morning, and the only proof is the tape. six fixed security cams mounted in the house is the smartest move this franchise ever made. no one running, no one screaming about why they won't drop the camera, just footage that sits there and waits. the kitchen scene where every cabinet snaps open at once is a real reaction from the actress and you can tell, the frame doesn't lie about that. it's a slow burn and the front half tests you. but that basement scene with the baby is unexplained in a way the first one never managed.
