In a futuristic Tokyo where police have been privatized and bitter self-mutilation is so casual that advertising is often specially geared to the 'cutter' demographic, Ruka is on a mission to avenge her father's assassination. Ruka is a cop from a squad whose goal is to destroy homicidal mutant humans known as 'engineers', that possess the ability to transform any injury to a weapon in and of itself.

she chops off the subway groper's hands and then just calmly opens an umbrella so the blood doesn't ruin her outfit. cunty behavior i fully support. eihi shiina playing it dead straight while penis pistols and snail woman happen around her is genuinely the only reason this holds together. it's twenty minutes too long though, by the eighth anatomically impossible blood geyser i was checking how much was left. not really my church, give me a quiet ghost in a wet apartment any day. but i respect a man who used to do makeup deciding to weaponize every orifice on earth.
