A civil war where the artillery has been swapped for bio-weapons, which is the kind of horrifying escalation i think about more than i should admit. Leon moves through a warzone and the whole thing buzzes with this low, queasy menace I felt in my teeth. Beautiful grain, ugly monsters, and a tension that just keeps humming long after the credits hiss out. This is the frequency I keep coming back to.
