Having just returned from a mission to Mars, Commander Ross isn't exactly himself. He's slowly becoming a terrifying alien entity with one goal -- to procreate with human women! When countless women suffer gruesome deaths after bearing half-alien offspring, scientist Laura Baker and hired assassin Press Lennox use Eve, a more tempered alien clone, to find Ross and his brood. Before long Eve escapes to mate with Ross.

death by alien sex. an actual man explodes a woman mid-coitus and the floor caves in, and they just put that in the movie. i refuse to let this be the embarrassing one. the original was a slick studio package. this is steve johnson practical fx going feral, exploding wombs, tentacles out of a spine, a senator's son turning into a rampaging fertility nightmare on a midwest farm. patrick ross treats procreation like a to-do list and never breaks character. is it sloppy? sure, that's the texture. the goo era is the era nobody gives credit, and the first film wishes it had this much gunk in it.
