In 2176, a Martian police unit is sent to pick up a highly dangerous criminal at a remote mining post. Upon arrival, the cops find the post deserted and something far more dangerous than any criminal — the original inhabitants of Mars, hellbent on getting their planet back.

the possession enters through the ears, so we've lost before any helmet protocol could matter. this is assault on precinct 13 with a worse perimeter: one mining town, one rail line out, and the call is to fortify a building with no overwatch and a single supply route. and the flashbacks nested inside flashbacks make the whole after-action report unreadable, which is its own small crime. give them this though. they rig charges, they plan a breakout, they actually use the train. the decapitation-pole crowd is a morale problem, not a tactical one. i'll always respect a small unit that fights its way to the exfil vehicle and drives off. henstridge's detail holds. ice cube's prisoner is the only one tracking ammo. containment, total loss.
