mark gets a machete to the face and rolls backward down a full flight of stairs in his wheelchair, and people act like this entry doesn't matter. it MATTERS. give ginny her flowers, she puts on pamela's sweater and talks jason down like she did the assigned reading. amy steel is the best final girl this franchise ever got and it's not close, and she's right here in the second one. this is burlap-sack jason too, before the hockey mask, one eye through the hole. the series found its whole identity in the entry people skip to get to part 3. the original is the famous one, but THIS is where it became something.
