saya guts a vampire on the subway platform and then just wipes the blade. no dread, no buildup, only the wet sound. this is the one that broke my whole thing. it's clean. it's digital. nothing soft to hide behind and somehow the air base at night still feels haunted. 48 minutes and they spend it like it's nothing. she's furious the entire time and never once explains herself, which i respect more than any lore dump. the nurse realizing what she's looking at, that little intake of breath does more than the action. my only real complaint is it ends right as it starts to whisper. i wanted another hour of her saying nothing.
