In the aftermath of a personal tragedy, Harper retreats alone to the beautiful English countryside, hoping to find a place to heal. a man splits open to push out the next man, who splits to push the next. somebody in the shop EARNED their check on that rolling birth chain. the prosthetic belly into the full animatronic creature, real swollen weight, broken limbs poking the skin, the kind of build you can only do in latex and gross up by hand. kinnear playing every guy is a hell of a turn, the dad-bod naked one's stuck in my head. but they kept reaching for the computer, half those transformations go soft and digital right when they should be tearing. framestore did clean work, and clean's the problem, no squib weight to it. garland loves an 80s body-morph and so do i. wish he'd trusted the table over the render farm.
