When brothers Pedro and Jimi discover that a demonic infection has been festering in a nearby farmhouse, they attempt to evict the victim from their land. Failing to adhere to the proper rites of exorcism, their reckless actions inadvertently trigger an epidemic of possessions across their rural community.

a rotten man on a cot, bloated and weeping and festering. that's slow craft, you can practically smell the latex curing. rugna lives by the rule i do: never cut away. the dog scene with the two little kids, they let it play, brutal and practical and real. nobody dialed up a render farm for that. the axe work and the shotgun aftermath are textbook appliance, built to be lit and held in frame. sags a little between the wet parts when nobody's bleeding. but when it goes, it GOES. argentina's been quietly outbuilding hollywood's whole effects department.
