two bare feet swaying from a noose, glimpsed before the wind even finds its voice. that is how you announce a ghost. Taboada knew dread lives in whatever the lamp refuses to reach, and Lopez wears her cruelty like a second shadow down every corridor of that school. a whispered claudia carried on the wind does more than any modern jump could dream of. patient, unhurried, never once minding your watch. the andrea girl haunts with grief in the bones rather than blood on the walls. i sat with the dark long after the reel ended.
