pyramid head peels anna like a day-old sock and not one frame of it is faked. a real pull, real latex, blood on the chain link. and the monsters are people, gans hired dancers and contortionists so the joints bend wrong because a real spine is bending wrong, you can't fake that twitch in a render. the nurses are the standout, filmed walking backward then run in reverse so the stumble reads alive and broken at once. craftsman work. plot's a mess and it runs long, i'll grant the haters that. but the squib budget and the texture of this town is the real deal. i'd hang the pyramid head suit in the garage.
