the blue rose, the red glove. everyone called this the worst movie ever made and never once stopped to ask why it's lit like an italian giallo from 1975. this is the one nobody respects, and it deserves better. lohan plays a straight-edge writer AND a stripper named dakota moss, and the whole thing drowns in electric blue and red like dario argento got hold of a saw script. severed hand. prosthetic leg. it commits. yes it won seven razzies, yes it's deranged, that's the texture. people are finally screening it as an american giallo and acting like they discovered it. the cult was right. it got buried for being weird on purpose. give it the retrial.
