Eight years after the opening night tragedy of HELL HOUSE LLC, many unanswered questions remain. Thanks to an anonymous tip, an investigative journalist is convinced that key evidence is hidden inside the abandoned Abaddon Hotel. She assembles a team to break into the hotel in hopes of discovering the truth. But the source of the tip and the secrets of the Abaddon Hotel are more horrifying than any of them could have imagined.

clowns just STANDING there in that hotel, posed like the world's worst wedding party. i clocked them long before any of those doomed investigators did and i wanted to scream run, run away from the tableau. is it as creepy as the first one? no. they show you the whole haunted maze in the first ten minutes instead of letting it breathe. but taking a tiny found-footage hit and building it a whole cursed abaddon mythology, that takes nerve. the ghost girl poking her head around that doorframe lives in my skull rent free. every silent clown in that lobby out-acted half the cast. fumbled landing, i clapped anyway.
