Vlad Tepes is a great hero, but when he learns the Sultan is preparing for battle and needs to form an army of 1,000 boys, he vows to find a way to protect his family. Vlad turns to dark forces in order to get the power to destroy his enemies and agrees to go from hero to monster as he's turned into the mythological vampire, Dracula.

for once the bats are the helper, not the threat?? a whole army eaten by a guy who turned himself into a million bats, and i was like, go off. barely scary, which my heart thanks luke evans for personally. felt more like a sad action guy who made one bad deal than a monster i had to hide from. watching him slaughter everyone in the reflection of a dying soldier's sword made me lift the pillow, but for the cool, not the scary. two pauses, both the silver-coin tent collapse because i thought he was done for. lights on out of habit. thank you for letting me dip a toe in without ruining me.
