a little chairlift on the stairs that goes up by itself in the dark. that is all it took. that is all i needed to be done. janice has the leg brace, so they put her in a WHEELCHAIR and send her near a well, and i was like absolutely not. she investigated the doll anyway. rip janice. the scarecrow in the barn. the sheet thing walking toward the kid. nope. thank you for slow dread instead of buckets of blood, my stomach can't do gross. quiet and then NOT, over and over. genuinely good. i was terrified and i'm pretty sure that's the point. six pauses, every light on plus my phone flashlight.
