they BRACE that sink for you. michelle pfeiffer sashays into another woman's house, breaks the one thing she was told not to touch, and lights a cigarette about it. iconic. this is what happens when a man gets a real budget and zero supervision, and i would not have it any other way. an F from the audience and a 69 from critics isn't a failure, it's a marriage. making jennifer lawrence rip out wallpaper for two hours and then unleashing THAT crowd, you know the scene. i was shaking by the end. it commits so hard it forgets to apologize. that house is the whole performance.
