A family's road trip takes a dangerous turn when they arrive at a secluded mobile home park to stay with some relatives and find it mysteriously deserted. Under the cover of darkness, three masked killers pay them a visit to test the family's every limit as they struggle to survive.

ok everyone dragged this thing into the ground and i genuinely don't get it. the pool scene set to total eclipse of the heart with the neon palm lights going is one of the dumbest most beautiful things i've seen in a slasher and i mean that as the highest compliment. yeah the family makes some choices i'd never make (i would simply not split up in a deserted trailer park) but bailee madison is actually going for it here and the whole thing looks like someone watched a lot of carpenter and wanted to play. it's not the crawly dread of the first one and i'm fine with that, i wanted an 80s throwback and i got neon and air supply and masks. 86 minutes of exactly what i came for, put it on my corkboard next to the underrated pile
