a head through the bandsaw, delivered about four times over, and that's the whole pitch. nobody talks about this one and it drives me up a wall. it's KNB's first job, nicotero, berger and kurtzman cutting their teeth in a grocery store before they became the guys who did everything. you can SEE them figuring it out on the meat hooks and the trash compactor. scott spiegel got the whole evil dead crew to show up too, raimi behind the deli counter is so dumb i love it. camera mounted to a phone, a shopping cart, whatever wasn't nailed down. the only thing holding it back is it just kind of ends. a slasher this nasty should have spawned more.
