a conversion clock that runs days, not seconds, and still nobody builds a perimeter. wade keeps an infected dependent inside a populated household with zero containment protocol. i respect the realism of the quarantine-and-euthanize policy, that's the correct call, but the personnel here actively sabotage it for one teenager. arnold underplays the entire thing into the dirt, which i found weirdly effective, the man just standing in a kitchen losing. slow conversion is the scariest threat profile in the genre, attrition with a face on it. but this is a farmhouse vigil, not an outbreak op.
