everyone wants to talk about nattevagten like the danish original is the only legal version, and nobody mentions baby ewan mcgregor alone in that morgue at 3am, poking a corpse's foot to see if it twitches. the bluish fluorescent light makes everyone look already dead and i lived for it. yeah the plot leaks like a sieve and they clearly reshot half of it into mush, but nick nolte shows up and just starts EATING the screen, and lauren graham is in this?? josh brolin doing the worst-friend-imaginable bit. it's b-minus se7en for people who want the trashy version, and i mean that as a compliment. the morgue is the best character and i won't argue about it.
