dropped my entire tea when the red ghost crawled up out of the floor. this movie is SO pretty most of the time that i forget to be scared, and then it remembers, and so do i. nobody warned me about the thing at the sink near the end. the house bleeding red mud through the snow lives in my brain now. note to self: do not move into a mansion that breathes. six pauses, lights on plus the hallway. why did i do this (i loved it).
