not one drop spilled and i still sat up. quint's grin fogging the greenhouse glass behind that boy. no squibs, nothing here for my kind to grade, and ghost pictures usually leave me cold. this one didn't. those candles francis rigged with four wicks so the flame lights itself, that's craft i respect same as any good blood rig. it lives in the breathing and the dark eating the frame edges. the kiss the boy gives her crawled under my skin worse than any chainsaw. not my church. but i won't pretend it isn't built right. quiet work by people who knew exactly what they were doing.
