remote cabin, one road in, zero comms the moment the keys vanish into the snow. textbook how-not-to. but here's my real problem: these aren't shamblers, they're an organized battalion. they hold a line, they coordinate, they have a commanding officer. that's not an outbreak, that's an opposing force, and the kids brought a hammer. credit where due, the survivor rappelling down a cliff on his own intestines is doing more improvised logistics than the whole group managed in act one, and the snowmobile-and-chainsaw counterattack is the first defensive line they establish, an hour too late. slow to mobilize, no supply discipline, but somebody finally fought back. Improvised counterattack: B+.
