that pause before the airport doors open is the only part that scared me. then it goes loud and stays loud. everything here is too clean. nothing rough, nothing tactile, just polished plastic faces that never quite land an expression. the curtis mutation should feel wrong all over and instead it just gleams. i kept waiting for a single held silent shot and it never came. leon reloading in the dark is the closest it gets to a real moment. competent. shiny. forgettable the second the screen cuts out.

one infected walks through arrivals and the whole concourse is gone in minutes. that is the entire failure right there. no choke points, no isolation ward, gate agents just standing around watching a quarantine breach unfold. leon at least clears rooms correctly, moves with cover, checks his corners. claire keeps the civilians bunched, which is more than airport security ever managed. the curtis miller G thing isn't a monster problem, it's a guy who injected himself that you should never have let inside the building. solid evac instincts from the leads, catastrophic facility design. leon gets a B+ for personnel discipline. everyone who built that terminal fails.
