the killer goes after virgins, so the kids throw a Pop Your Cherry party as a survival tactic, and i won't let you laugh at that. brittany murphy carries the whole thing, doing real final-girl work in a movie nobody let into theaters. they buried it on the USA network, censored it to death, and somehow it became the most expensive tv movie ever made. it has the energy of a third-film slasher even though it stands alone, and it commits to a bit most movies wouldn't touch. the Scream Factory disc exists for a reason. y'all skipped it and i'm not over it.
