cerina vincent dragging a razor through her own rotted skin, the sores opening like wet paper. KNB did that with latex and karo and a steady hand, and you can tell it's real because the light catches the blood wrong, the good kind of wrong. jordan ladd's face melting down to the teeth builds in layers across the runtime instead of one big reveal, which is the harder way and the right way. roth wanted four movies and got two, but one of them is a flesh-and-squib showcase and that's the one i came for. the finger-probe gag still makes the garage guys wince. rip to everyone in the cabin, the rot did its job.
