manel rationing tuna for the cat is the most realistic supply-line call in the whole genre. the first half is one man holding a single apartment and i was riveted, because that IS the war: food runs, noise discipline, boarding the door. these are runners though, rabies-fast, no window to fall back and no being tired around them. the land-and-sea evac is sound, water is a real barrier and they actually use it. docks a grade for the back half going soft and reaching for the usual set pieces. the perimeter held longer than the pacing did. Pet evacuation protocol: commendable.
