that smile when the bone breaks. somebody on this crew knows how to crack a face open and let it sit. naomi scott does the heavy lifting and the gore meets her halfway, the contortion stuff, the dancer bending wrong, a craftsman flexing. they commit more than the first one did. does the digital sneak in around the edges? sure, a couple smiles got that rubbery float. but the wet practical hits land like clean joinery, tight seams, no daylight showing. the cold open alone is worth the squib budget. fella bleeds out proper.
