the cupid mask bleeds from the nose, the killer cries blood the entire movie, and y'all called this generic back in 2001. i know the post-scream boom had a hundred of these, but the body-bag kill, the iron to the face, denise richards going through the hot tub glass, this thing commits. it's the overlooked middle child of that class. everyone bought tickets to scream 3 and ignored the one with the actual nasty arrow-into-a-dumpster setpiece. the whole thing is a touch unfinished, no franchise to grow into, no follow-up to redeem it, that's the one knock. but the cult caught up. people came around. they always do.
