william shatner playing a serial-killer-profiling professor named starkman is the single most overlooked thing in this entry and nobody mentions it. yes, the patrick bateman connection is held together with scotch tape and a flashback. yes, it was clearly a different movie before someone slapped the title on it. i do not care. mila kunis is genuinely doing something here, all sweet eyes then dead-flat the second the door closes, the office-hours scene where she reframes a body like it's a scheduling conflict is great. this is the part 2 everyone writes off without watching. the rare direct-to-video sequel that's MORE fun than its reputation. rachel would've made a phenomenal recurring villain and we got robbed.
