that tiny wave hartnett gives the merch girl is the whole movie, a serial killer doing dad small talk so well your stomach drops out. hear me out, people write this off as late-shyamalan filler and it's a misread. the concert-as-arena gimmick is the most fun he's had in ages, and hartnett is doing something genuinely deranged where you start rooting for the killer to make his flight. the back half loses the thread once it leaves the venue, the perspective swap is a stumble, granted. but the lady raven songs grew on me and the stadium cat-and-mouse is top tier. another one the heads come back for later.
