Nobody believes a liar... even when they're telling the truth.
After a local woman is murdered, a group of teenage liars create a warning e-mail of a serial killer named “The Wolf”, coming on the next full moon. The teens describe each death method The Wolf uses, but when the described victims actually do start turning up dead, suddenly no one knows where the lies end and the truth begins.

a professor shot through the heart while a bon jovi song plays, killed via an email game, and this movie has genuinely been wronged. people call it derivative, but the whole point is that the game devours the kids who started it, and the ending yanks the rug out from under you twice. that's a real slasher engine. my heartbreak is that it just stops, no follow-up. a movie this cruel to liars deserved more, a second round where the wolf comes back and nobody believes it again. the curse of the overlooked strikes once more.
